If you buy the service online as a consumer, you usually have 14 days to use the right of withdrawal. This means that you can withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. This applies to both the monthly and the yearly subscription, insofar as the law provides no exception.

How to use the right of withdrawal

To use the right of withdrawal, send us a clear statement to info@gudrapele.lv before the period ends. You can use this text:

I, …………………………, hereby give notice that I wish to use the right of withdrawal from the contract for the Gudrā pele service. Order details: ………………………….

You can add your name, the order details and the date of purchase. That will help us find the purchase, but what matters most is to say clearly that you wish to withdraw from the contract. We will confirm that we have received your statement.

If you start using the service straight away

A subscription service can start working straight after the purchase. If you expressly ask for the service to begin during the withdrawal period and then use the right of withdrawal, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the time we receive your statement.

Refund

If the right of withdrawal has been used validly, we make the refund within 14 days of receiving the statement. We refund using the same means of payment you used for the purchase, unless you expressly agree to another arrangement.

If the service has already been provided during the withdrawal period at your express request, the amount refunded may be reduced by a proportionate charge for the service already provided. Payments are processed by Paddle, so the refund may be made through Paddle.

Cancelling the subscription

The right of withdrawal is not the same as cancelling the subscription. You can cancel the subscription before the next payment is taken, by writing to info@gudrapele.lv. Cancelling stops the next payment.

Cancelling does not bring back a charge already paid for a previous paid period or one already begun. It does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days or your other consumer rights.
